Australia
Australia produces an assortment of petrified woods. Ranging from the rare and beautiful Osmunda which is really not wood but a fern, to Pentoxylon which is a bundle of stems growing inside a common casing, to Podocarpus and shipworm riddled Peanut Wood, Australia offers many very special specimens.
