Earth's Odyssey...

Earth's Odyssey is dedicated to the manufacture of museum quality petrified wood specimens. We boast one of the largest assortment of rough material, ready for manufacture, as well as one of the widest varieties of finished material available.

Our "Diamond Luster" finishing process was developed by our Master Craftsman over three and a half decades.  35 years of experimentation, trial and error and the quest for the perfect polish led to our museum grade finish that our customers simply refer to as "the best!"

If the opportunity presents itself, we highly recommend a trip to Hillsboro, Oregon where a trip to the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals will surely delight collectors of all types.  Our museum display numbering approximately 500 pieces are on loan to the Rice Museum where a new wing was built specifically to house the exhibit.  All specimens have been identified by the foremost expert on paleobotany in the United States and list species, age, formation and location.

Please tour our site and view some representative samples of our petrified wood.  If you are interested in purchasing a specimen please click here to send an email to our customer service coordinator with specific information regarding the selection in which you are interested.  In most cases your email will be returned in 24-48 hours.  Please understand that our material turns over nearly as quickly as it can be completed, therefore slabs pictured on our web should be considered representative samples as a piece pictured my no longer be available.

It would be impossible to list all of our material on our web as we are continually refreshing our rough material supplies.  If you are looking for a specific specimen and do not see it pictured please send an email by clicking here and ask if we have it in stock.  It is entirely possible that we can meet your needs!

At Earth's Odyssey we cut and finish our own material.  We purchase rough material from points all around the globe and once the initial cut is made we determine whether the material is worthy of our name.  Specimens that do not meet our stringent standards are quickly discarded and only the finest material is put through our finishing process.  Many museums and many of the most sophisticated collectors around the world have purchased specimens from Earth's Odyssey!

Thank you for visiting Earth's Odyssey.
